    Renovation of my French old stone house – Week 4: Sanding the parquet floor

    This week, we’re taking care of the parquet floor renovation, and more precisely the sanding stage. In this house, apart from the kitchen and the entrance, which are in cement tiles, the other rooms and the staircases have an old oak wooden floor, in very bad condition but that can still be saved.

    Renovation of my French old stone house – Week 3: The vintage cast iron radiators

    The renovation work of the house is progressing, slowly but surely. The electricity is now done, as well as the external separation wall. This week’s biggest project: the heating system renovation. Indeed, we need to rethink the radiators placement, and we want to replace them by vintage cast iron radiators.
